 | Hi I bought the Winsor & Newton version, and had that problem of tightening the screws and then slipping. {Mine has knurled knobs, not the wing nuts that you have on yours) I overcame this by cutting a piece of leather to fit the knobs, so that it's the leather that is gripping the wood, not the metal. Also my drawer opened on the left, which for me being right handed was really awkward, but was easily fixed so that it now opens on the right hand side. Plus have lined my drawers with leather too ;) Hopefully these little tips will help someone interested in the same easels we have. Комментарий от : @Ian-gb8ds |

I was looking at this one, www.michaels.com/10132811.html#start=3 , is this the same one just more expensive? My wife just got into painting and I really want to get her something nice for Christmas, I want to buy her something nice, well made and sturdy. The one in your link from amazon has some mix reviews, some think it is a bit flimsy. I don't mind spending some extra cash, but I do mind if it is the same item :) Thanks!  | Hello! I hope you can help me. I want to buy a table easel (don't have enough space for normal one), I need an easel for my watercolor, acrylic and colored pencils studies. I have only 2 options here in Moscow: Mabef M/24 or Jullian Plein Air Travel Box Table Easel (this one looks like yours). This is very important choice for me, and i don't have any experience with easels so i can't choose by myself, i really need some help!=( Just your opinion, which one is better? 1) Mabef M/24 www.mabef.it/download/pdf/M-24.pdf or 2) Jullian Plein Air Travel Box Table Easel www.jullian.co.uk/acatalog/JULLIAN_TABLE_TOP_EASEL.html Your easel and Jullian's have that feater that allow you to hold your canvas really low, near the legs, is it comfortable position to paint or you use that feature rarely?
