Barra are a common catch in the top end… they are not rare Комментарий от : @scottdavis4689 |
Perfect Auger that cuts like a hot knife going through butter. Комментарий от : @dougschust1 |
Barra are rare? WTF is this bloke smoking. Комментарий от : @justabloke1806 |
They swam. They’re smart, very intelligence. They can’t handle salt being poured on them I’m pretty sure so how do they tolerate sea water. Different concentration I know but still. Australian here. Комментарий от : @aaronkameric1419 |
pip pip blimey and a gor blimey shut up who cares Комментарий от : @bkbj8282 |
Ive been waiting to look at what exactly is a Barramundi fish just to get myself a bit disappointed because its just a fish commonly found in Malaysian seafood restaurant. Never know its called Barramundi because here we call it Siakap Комментарий от : @muhayminquddusasri5043 |
I always loved the respect Jeremy had for fish. Always treated them like the majestic creatures they are. All anglers should aim to be like Jeremy Комментарий от : @deaganachomarunacathasaigh4344 |
he is now a billionaire from rare fish Комментарий от : @elliotnyberg9332 |
Fish breed fast enough that by a few dozen generations they will be resistant to cane toad poison. Комментарий от : @kendallkahl8725 |
Just remember all the hell he has gone through the one fish bruised his heart broke bones plus all the deadly bug bites spiders bites toxic fish electric eels in the water with a fish that is know to swim up a man's pee hole or the one the attacked men's genitals how about the tribes in the Amazon that don't trust white men and are ready to slit your throat for just looking the wrong way he's had Malaria yellow fever just to name a few Комментарий от : @bobforaker772 |
Prefiro. Edioma portugues Brasil Комментарий от : @jeffersonaguiar49 |
I like how he talks about the cane toad invasion like an army of toads came in and wiped out the dominant species on the planet Комментарий от : @edbuscus360 |
Hey Jeremy would you please take me fishing with you Комментарий от : @dennispratt559 |
Yeah right! Cane toads swam to the island. Ffs own up fellas. Комментарий от : @ardnfast |

Ở Việt Nam có những con cá cùng loài này nặng đến 17 kg , chúng rất mạnh Комментарий от : @tuanmai1025 |
This is rubbish. Barramundi aren't rare. Bull for the show, makes me doubt his integrity. Комментарий от : @billcarson4566 |
Looks like mix between a bass and a tarpon with a little snook Комментарий от : @joshsetal1507 |
After all that time, effort, heart break and expense, the local fish n chip shop is lookin' pretty good. Комментарий от : @neddyladdy |
Such a large Barra in a pool? Комментарий от : @gloriapinto4100 |

Jerrrrmey fukkin Wade ! i thought I was a hardcore fisherman. Till I found this man. Комментарий от : @joebarry372 |
Jeremy wade is surprisingly spry Комментарий от : @connormccoury9272 |
it looks very similar to the Murray Cod in it's anatomy, but a very different color! Комментарий от : @MorrowProduction |
I really love Jeremy wade but the show could be a little bit less dramatic because its not all real. Like de slide where the Croc came out of the water is actually the slide where the fish slid out of the water Комментарий от : @reangerritsen3299 |
Just wish he came in a bit further inland to Emerald, about 250km from where he was. Our dam gets some proper monster Barra in there. Комментарий от : @sralleskcorb8876 |
Cam tu je slamber dia strike siakap besar😂 Комментарий от : @leebron349 |
How does this affect the rare fish market? Комментарий от : @FAGANATOR1 |
Great video as usual, thank you. As an aside, my great uncle used to run the roadhouse at Fitzroy Crossing 😊 Комментарий от : @markjohnson8352 |

So What Exactly do the CANE TOADS do to the Fish & Other Wildlife ? Комментарий от : @waynesmith9408 |
Is this a CROK FREE ZONE ? Комментарий от : @waynesmith9408 |
More clickbait trash titles. I don't understand why people just can't rely on the quality of their content instead of relying on lies like the Barramundi is now somehow rare. I've hooked at least one in a man-made canal & lake system near where I live & that's at least a few hundred kilometres south of their recognised southern most natural range in Queensland. They're nowhere even close to being rare anywhere in their natural habitat. They're ridiculously common, just tricky to catch if you don't know what you're doing. Комментарий от : @Lucifurion |
AMAZING SCIENTIST....AWESOME NOTATIONS...😳 Комментарий от : @winter4953 |
i knew as a fact there were fish there too! Комментарий от : @UTFapollomarine7409 |
Every sentence you say has to evolves around cane toad’s how do you know that crocodile died from cane toad they might immune to it and I an Australian Комментарий от : @sandietorchio4686 |
Thank God for subtitles, I would have had no idea what the Aboriginal was saying. Just goes to show the English are still a bunch of racist dicks. Комментарий от : @doodah5521 |
It's like a cross between a snook and bass Комментарий от : @petermcdougall1152 |
Barramundi are "rare" in the Fitzroy? Since when? The place is wall to wall with them. Комментарий от : @TheCaptainbeefylog |
What a load of bullshit - Barramundi are not a rare fish , and another thing salt kills cane toads - hahahaha Комментарий от : @richardwozniak3238 |
Crazy how now I’m watching Jeremy wade 10years on and only now I realise how bad he is at fishing Комментарий от : @islandhopper7224 |
This is the biggest load of B S I’ve ever seen, cane toads were brought over in 1935 to “control the cane beetle” yeas they can be deadly to small animals but there is absolutely no way a croc would die from eating a cane toad Комментарий от : @jacobowens328 |
Rare hahahahaha. Click bait at its worst. While he was here I wonder if Discovery UK sent him down the Murray to catch one of our rare carp? Комментарий от : @azzs6617 |
Someone get him a livescope Комментарий от : @joeys7519 |
Why is this clip only subtitled when the indigenous fellow is speaking? Is this some sort of supressed racism? His English was equal to that of the presenter! Minus points Discovery UK. Oh, do you need an interpreter for that too, because I am Australian? Комментарий от : @ArrDee49 |
Lol, Barramundi are not rare, they're super common in the north. If you're targeting them you're pretty much guaranteed to catch one. Комментарий от : @jimmy_flaps |
Looks like a snook almost Комментарий от : @erockscott1184 |
Are barras related to tarpon? They certainly appear similar Комментарий от : @slowstang88 |
Bruh, in the last video I saw, you couldn’t even operate an outboard motor. No real sportsman respects your bitch ass Комментарий от : @modernhustle11 |
barramundi tastes real good Комментарий от : @sthui2866 |
Barra isnt that rare at all Комментарий от : @dakodabaxter9186 |
Fuck cane toads the bastards Комментарий от : @DIRTYPLACCY |
Do the cane toads poison the water or are they toxic if eaten? Комментарий от : @jk8403 |
Fishing is simply meant to be enjoyed not Sold. And that’s why we’ve always loved river monsters and Jeremy Wade!! Комментарий от : @GeoFishing |
We need to round up all the cane toads, extract their DMT and get it into the food and water for the elites who run this planet! Комментарий от : @keirkeir9859 |
He fishes like a 12 year old girl. Комментарий от : @ronaldmcdowells1107 |
Fire the sound editor. The music is so loud you can barely hear the announcer in the beginning Комментарий от : @gloopgloopglorp |
What show is this Комментарий от : @biged7006 |
His gear is suuuuuper sexy. Love me some G Loomis and Daiwa. Two of my salmon and steelhead setups are G Loomis rods with Daiwa reels. My other three are a mix of Okuma, Lamiglas, Shimano, and Pflueger. Bass gear is Lamiglas, Shimano, G Loomis, and Pflueger. I have one Okuma trout rod with Pflueger reel. Rarely ever use it though. Комментарий от : @dane0phelps |
I have a pet cane toad. I don’t know about them swimming across open ocean, but I know they love water. Mine spends most of her time floating in her water bowl, despite being a “terrestrial” toad. Комментарий от : @dumper87 |
Piękne ryby !!! Комментарий от : @krystiankrolik4418 |
Can't believe how many people this clown has fooled.. He isn't a fisherman's asshole! Pure clickbait garbage as usual from Jeremy Wade lol Комментарий от : @fredflintstone6729 |
Reminds me of an over the top yank 😂😂 10 out of 10 for extra drama 😂😂 Комментарий от : @mrmoneygrabber5824 |

Wade states in his book, How to think like a fish, that he has all but given up red meat and dairy products because "it is the best thing you can do to save the planet"
Read this Jeremy. While she says she is no great carnivore, Buxton’s book examines the vested interests in shaping the narrative around plant-based products. “We’ve heard time and again that cutting meat and dairy will have the biggest environmental impact but, if you look at the facts, the single biggest change you could make is to forego a flight. Or you can reduce the use of your car. Or you can eliminate all food waste from your home.” Time you did less jetting around the world with film crews don't you think? Комментарий от : @henryreid |
That fish looks tasty. Комментарий от : @JamesJones-cx5pk |
The first fish was a queen fish i think Комментарий от : @jacintajones4545 |
Good on him but he’s been misinformed about barramundi, they aren’t endangered and toads don’t effect them as much as he’s implying. Now he’s misinformed people. Комментарий от : @jacksonwolfe4404 |
Guess, im not the only one who likes Jeremy's way of fishing and narrating these shows. Комментарий от : @niven1104 |
That was a beautiful fish! Definitely bigger than the 2 bass and 4 walleye I caught this morning. I’m so jealous that Jeremy Wade gets to fish all over the world. Lol Комментарий от : @dane0phelps |
