Almost 100 Nm not 75/ It's a big diferent ;) Комментарий от : @adikas11 |
My 78 KayZee1000A2 ran low 12s, without a stage 2 Yoshimura kit. 88 HP out of the box. Had a pretty good high-speed wobble, though, at about 88mph. Комментарий от : @onerider808 |
Best all around bike you can buy 🧝🌴🏴☠️ Комментарий от : @vincentdavidson755 |
It’s actually got a WET weight of 215kg. Not that heavy. Комментарий от : @jadethompson5269 |
The stock version for sure but get an ivan's tune its $350 buck but the flash and ecu reprogramming easily allows that bike to do 170.....but like any bike those speeds are dangerous and do cause excessive stress on your parts but i stand by getting this bikes governor's turned off, it becomes a whole other beast and my mpg is still 46 fyi so its not a big sacrifice! Just came across this, how I want one!!!! Комментарий от : @andymushlarky7819 |
Very good video, sir Комментарий от : @dpw9768 |
What an absolutely awesome review. Seriously!!!! Комментарий от : @andrewvanstaden8922 |
12:19 I couldn’t agree more. After just over 2000 miles on mine, I threw on a set of Michelin Road 6 and it literally transformed the bike!! Комментарий от : @postersm7141 |
I absolutely love my 2021 RS Café!! very accurate review. That induction noise is amazing!! Комментарий от : @postersm7141 |
Its a gorgeous bike! Комментарий от : @paullacey2999 |
This bike, and the standard Z900RS are ruined by the stupid seat design. Why is it 835mm in height, when the original was just 812mm? The distance between the wheel and the seat looks stupid, unless you are one of those tools who thinks that seats sticking up in the air look good. I'd have an original Z900 any day over one of these, despite the substantial weight and the 81bhp. It was a fantastic bike to ride; a great all-rounder, with plenty of power, and a very comfortable seat. Комментарий от : @russellparratt9859 |
1. What traction control mode did you use at Santa Pod? (off?) 2. Would a rider be able to get his knee down on the RS at say a track day? Cheer 🍻 Комментарий от : @tomjones8883 |
Great review! Thanks Комментарий от : @NorCalSaint |
If you’re not first your last.. Honda released their bike first sooooo 😏 The Kawi is still an amazing bike tho. Комментарий от : @ChrisVonDoom83 |
I want one. ❤ Комментарий от : @mattfrench884 |
definitely a man of culture, someone point me at a good tuning video for these!!! Комментарий от : @jean-pierrefernandez2460 |
Nice straight down the line, review and refreshingly not littered with flowery metaphors 👍 Комментарий от : @HORNET6 |
Drag racing and 0-60 numbers were at the center of stupidity or stupid ideology. Riding a bike at a straight line is boring. Heading for the twisty roads is were the fun starts! It took the Japanese manufactures a while to understand that. Who invented the stupidity? The US magazines? Maybe? The British or Italian magazines? No! Комментарий от : @TheIceland2000 |
Come back to this great review every now and then. Was probably the one which sold me on the cafe. Had mine for nearly 3 years now and still my favourite bike of all. Комментарий от : @jhvfcvhgu66ujv |
What a brilliant presenter! He kept us very well in informed, but laughing also! Thank you. Комментарий от : @Paul-yv5yj |
love the bike and the Tudor BB Bronze too !! I have the watch and the bike is on the must buy list ! Great review Thanks Комментарий от : @mdaydj |
Just bought the 2022 Z900RS Cafe in Black w/ the the grey stripe. So far so good !!! Комментарий от : @TopshelfJunior |
9:28 Where you said it has 75Nm torque. ... That's incorrect. From the Kawasaki website, quote, "98.5 N•m {10 kgf•m} / 6,500 rpm". (I thought it sounded off at 75Nm and had to check.) EDIT: Anyone else think that while the Z900RS SE looks great in yellow. It's shame there aren't more colour options. Комментарий от : @greenbow7888 |
The one trait of today's modern sportbike is the HUGE air gap between the rear tire and the seat/cowling that manufacturer's insist on engineering into these bikes. It looks UGLY and I hate it. Yes, there may be some additional travel enabled in the rear suspension, but not enough to require such a huge gap that looks weird and reminiscent of a damned dirt bike. I see no advantage either regarding aerodynamics. Комментарий от : @dieterhauer8619 |
looking at the 50th anniversary one ... may just sign the papers Комментарий от : @796andy2 |
Thats how to review a bike. Good job man! Комментарий от : @stevieg75 |
This is exactly how we use to do it in the late 80s ride from London to the pod ,race and ride home...easy .great video Комментарий от : @richard9444 |
How does it compare to the XSR 900? Комментарий от : @garystratton8731 |
Thanks for a top-shelf review! I've got to know are the handlebars the same or different on the regular RS and RS cafe (lower)? Комментарий от : @timothylandon001 |
Been out of the riding loop for more than 20 years, just had enough back then. After watching many new bike reviews of all kinds for just a little while now, this bike shows up on a random video...... I last rode a Seventy Eight, Kilo Zulu, Six Five Oh, in this exact style..... Needless to say, I had a "Deja Vu - All Over Again" moment (to quote Yogi Berra). For two days now, I have been catching up on old videos, I may have to visit a dealer soon. “Now the looks of this bike might not appeal to you, you weirdo” lmao! Комментарий от : @oscartmic |
Now they went & made the Z9800RS SE with Ohlins rear suspension & Brembo front brakes. It just gets better. Комментарий от : @frankstocker5475 |
Great review w/ practical insight and humor.....enjoyed it! Комментарий от : @savedzrex1 |
this bike looks and sounds amazing! Комментарий от : @kennydenys |
Just for your edification Mr Narrator it’s KawaSaki notKawaZaki. Комментарий от : @cavscout62 |
When you go around corners you lean that wrong way Комментарий от : @stevenmcintosh5612 |
Best review of the 900rs in the web - congrats ! Комментарий от : @Toni62R |
I was hesitating about buying one. I had z650 poster on my wall as a child. I ve watched some other reviews on you tube , where the best they can come up with is they don’t like the chrome handlebars and they are shuffling along at 40mph telling you what a great handling bike it is. I took one for a test ride this week and then found your review last night. That clinched it. Y0u are a great rider and seeing you hoon the bike round corners and front wheel inthe air never mind the drag racing sealed the deal and I bought a new one today Комментарий от : @88kjt |
Great mc writing just there. Clever and convincing... Комментарий от : @stimgaze |
♥️👍🏻 Комментарий от : @muzzainulzainul4900 |
How does it compare to a Thruxton?🤔🤔 Комментарий от : @2WheelWeekendViking |
Loved my old (blue) ZRX1200R and really fancy one of these. Think the unfaired looks a bit better imo but that might be because I'm not a fan of green. Комментарий от : @robertmarsh3588 |
This is my 3rd season with my Z900rs I’ve put 45,000 km on it and it has been absolutely perfect, I can’t think of another bike out there that I like more. Комментарий от : @KB-yj5xp |
Was looking for a review video of the Z900 RS and came across this drag racing tutorial video. I am glad i clicked on this video ❤️ got to know a lot more about drag racing. Most probably will participate in the next Valley Run in Mumbai. Cheers and thanks for making me smile 😁 Комментарий от : @yatishvasa3560 |
This is the best bike review I have watched. Z900rs is an awesome bike. Комментарий от : @jdempsey92 |
Lovely bike! Комментарий от : @vinjofin1972 |
I just dont get cafe bikes. Ugly IMO. Retro is really "we cant think of anything new to make". Комментарий от : @broderp |
Top interview , great job Комментарий от : @negenelf123 |
Just switched my ninja650 for one of these, after watching this brilliant review. Комментарий от : @derekturner9514 |
you can wind it out and hit 130+ hits 125 easily you could cruise at 100 no problem, I paid 10,400 American for one, maybe I slightly overpaid because I was paying cash Комментарий от : @williambarringer6513 |
Brits and drag racing don't mix Комментарий от : @steveheighton5971 |

I love this bike Комментарий от : @JAF41972 |
H2 750 greatest Kawasaki ever made Комментарий от : @satan1280z |
I loved the review. This guy looks very casual speaking about the kawa and suddenly hits you with a bold, honest statement without changing the tone. He'd be the perfect teacher. I really enjoyed the video. Thank you. Комментарий от : @error404 |
The best motorcycle review video I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen many. Комментарий от : @michaelmaxwell568 |
What is up with the surface of that drag strip?! It looks glossy wet! But it’s a normal surface after the speed trap? Huh? Well the rest of your review was great. This Z900SR has come into consideration. I’m a commuter & sport tourer who would love to have an inline-4 between my legs. Not overwhelming but capable. It also seems this could support panniers and a pillion. But see, I didn’t say PP. 🏁 Комментарий от : @Porsche996driver |
Perhaps the best review I’ve seen on the Internet for the Z 900 RS. Very nice production values and excellent editing. Комментарий от : @staffordvideoproductions5788 |
Thank you! I am the lucky owner of one of these and this is the first review that I felt captured how I feel about the bike. Japanese Muscle and a blast to ride. Комментарий от : @MrSantacruz48 |
I’ve been looking at this Bike for a couple years now. Had a 1975 Z1B in the seventies I bought new. My most fond memories of riding are on the seat of that Bike. I’m a little older now, but I want one last rodeo on a Bike that I truly love. Owned no less than 20 Bikes since then , mostly Harley’s. I found a non-current one at a decent price. Pretty sure I’m going to be a proud owner real soon of a Z900RS Cafe in that gorgeous green. It will be in my heated garage so I can feast my eyes until Spring. Комментарий от : @frendyv1 |
nice Tudor... Love it ! Комментарий от : @zulesplit |
Is it more stable and planted then the Mto9. because I test road a 2020 mt09 and I didn't like the lack of front end feel. the bike never felt planted. I am considering buying a used 2018 Z900RS. thats in very clean condition with 2700KL. Комментарий от : @photographerjonathan |
Think I'm gonna buy one of these, been watching them for quite a while now 👍😁 Комментарий от : @colincanyon2519 |
A new bike look like an old bike that feels like a new bike ( or so ). Superb sentence ! Комментарий от : @calablanca |
Bronze black bay? Niceeeee! Also I just applied for the bike here in Australia, wish me luck! I still have my monkey if it fails 😂🤣 Комментарий от : @Pablodwnunda |
Amazing review within a story, or amazing story within a review. Either way, loved it. Комментарий от : @tomascastillo886 |
so a Ducati scrambler 1100 or a Z900 rs? Комментарий от : @doodle0007 |
A gorgeous bike! Комментарий от : @joschelei262 |
came here to leave a respect for a great review... Best on YT concerning this bike in paricular! And why wasn't I suprised that I'm not alone here doing that?) Комментарий от : @galaxeon797 |
This is a kick ass review! "Some might prefer a little more meat between their legs". I laughed so hard my sides hurt! Informative, as well as entertaining. Very well done! I'm seriouly considering this bike. I can purchase one new for a little over $9K here in the USA. Is this bike comfortable enough to ride all day, as in, 8-10 hours? Does the small fairing deflect a good amount of wind from the pilot? Cheers! Комментарий от : @RedRoo13 |
I've been watching review after review of this bike. Hands down best one. Im not super knowledgeable on the metric system but then again im not here for the specs. Well done! Комментарий от : @natem1332 |
Noted the stock Dunlops not that good....what would you recommend.....great review as well :-) Комментарий от : @jasondavis2093 |
Enjoy your reviews, humorous yet informative. Not so much this one, 2/3 of it is about drag racing a bike more suited to road riding and admiring it's build quality Комментарий от : @coffeelixirruby |
Brilliant review of a fantastic bike. More than enough performance in the real world. Would love one in my garage if I could afford it. Комментарий от : @fyorbane |
"xsr900 for example which is similar kind of bike - with absolutely nothing to hide behind other than the ignition key" lol. before this statement i'm considering r ninety, z900rs, xsr, and cb.this plus the "weirdo" statement made my decision easy. thank you! Комментарий от : @marvinb897 |
Can't remember enjoying a review more than this one. So informative. If all the planets line up this week, I will be driving one of these home on Friday. Комментарий от : @gtsteele6219 |
Love you're test and review 👍👍 Best regards Комментарий от : @CatalinAdc |
Professional, concise and comprehensive but he comes off as a guy I love to ride with, and talk bikes and gear with over a couple beers. Thumbs up & subscribed. Well done! Комментарий от : @RedRoo13 |
Great report, lovely bike, I want one 👍 Комментарий от : @kevinevans2022 |
I owned a 1973 Z1 in the mid-seventies. I'm thinking the new Z900 RS may be my new bike. I sold the original in 1978 for $900 because I didn't have a place to garage it. Комментарий от : @chrispaul220 |
I never had anything but Harley’s and now a Kawasaki 1600 Vulcan. Can’t stand the “ crotch rocket” riding position. But THESE with the retro seating position I can ride!!! So glad to see some sport bikes that don’t require laying on the tank and cracking your neck to look forward. I gotta check one of these Kawasaki’s out Комментарий от : @JohnnyRebKy |
Your reaction time is not usually included in your time. It's included in the race win or loss but the time is just when you trigger the start and finish. And if you suck at driving don't worry your speed will still be a good indication of how fast your vehicle is. Комментарий от : @veneratedmortal4369 |
Looks good in Kawasaki green. I wish they bring that color over to the standard variant of this bike. Комментарий от : @salsamancer |
I dunno what I'm tripping on more the bike or the Tudor Bronze! Комментарий от : @885wc |
Is what it is.. nothing special Комментарий от : @johnmayberry7669 |
Thanks for the dragracing introduction. Waiting for the review in a later video? Комментарий от : @konnilindstrom4671 |
I been looking for a left over Suzuki GSXS1000F I can get a good deal on and I am definelty gonna hit the strip with it we have a fairly new one where I live that’s pretty popular and I have been wanting to run for years with My buddy’s but my cars aren’t that fast so I need a bike to keep up with there deep pockets! With that title, I thought we were gunna see a bloke in a skirt and some lipstick riding this great bike haha. Excellent review thanks ;) Комментарий от : @KrisHarrisnNeti |
Well well we’ll; I don’t really know what to say or think about the Z900rs. I have a 75’ Z1b at home that hasn’t been all buggered up. I think the RS styling is some what close to the old Z1 but not quite there. It’s somewhere between a Z1 and an a Eddie Lawson vintage of 1980. I still prefer the original over the new. Seeing how there is 45 years difference in age, I think I’m a little disappointed that the newer isn’t a little faster and nastier. I guess if I was to pick a stable mate, I should be shopping for a ZRX. Crazy thing is my other bike is a ZX6R, and little 600 is a whole second quicker in the quarter. I guess I’ll keep my money and spend it getting a complete refurbishment done on the old Z1b. After all these years of ownership she needs a little love. Besides my old Z1 just keeps appreciating in value more and more every year. 😎🇺🇸 Комментарий от : @chrismoody1342 |
