This means that they were able to survive for about two years after the episode was originally filmed. The new owners reopened a new restaurant and sports bar called the Eastside Ale House. However, this restaurant also closed in 2016 before being reopened as another sports bar called Primetime Sports Lounge & Restaurant. That one also didn’t last as it closed just one year later. | Idk why everyone’s feeling so bad for Mitch, he’s the one that needs to either man up and do his job or man up and admit it isn’t for him and quit. There is NO excuse to let a kitchen get that disgusting and continue to serve the public, for money no less. Have you all forgotten that there are people losing their hard earned money and likely getting sick because of this cr@p? Granted his cooks were responsible too but he didn’t even try to whip them into shape and keep quality control. I have no sympathy for this lazy mfer who avoids accountability at every step. As a lover of the culinary arts, I expect far better. If you can’t do it-BOW OUT. The kitchen staff was also AWFUL and they clearly did not care one bit. The fact they thought they could fool chef Ramsay telling him that the rotten chicken came like that was appalling. Who do they think they are?  | These two want to act like it's all Mitch's fault, and I'll say the same thing I say whenever owners spout the "it's all him, we didn't know" line: Y'all are losing money on this business, and it never occurred to you to do an inspection of the business that you co-own to see if there might be anything wrong? It never occurred to you to check the refrigerator? And don't give me that "oh they're owners not chefs they don't know food safety" if you own a restaurant you are morally and legally obligated to follow health codes and safety guidelines whether you're preparing the food or not. They either saw it and didn't care, or they're ignorant and negligent. And they are equally responsible for making sure their business is being run safely, because they will be equally screwed if they're sued or shut down for making someone sick.
