 | Bro this pisses me off so bad. I started playing the drums when I was about 10 on pots and pans. Got my first set the day of my first gig. I played gigs for over 20 years, everything from metal clubs to pit drumming for musical theater.  | I appreciate the skill of the double bass kick at high speed. but at some point its not adding much and seems to take away from the composition as a whole. I have noticed this in many songs in the last 10-20 years. I dont need a pensive pause or anything but it kind of muddys up the mix to me. I feel like we are reaching terminal velocity with speed of notes/beats. Love to watch it though. Glad to be here for the peak of human ear limits.
