 | the only reason we need preteens is because the teens in the Sims 4 are practically adults. in the sims 2, teens really felt like teens. they got acne, ran away from home, snuck out of the house, etc. i’d assume they were around 14-16. whereas the teens in the sims 4 are boring because nothing separates them from adults. essentially, you’re going from child to adult. we wouldn’t need preteens if the sims 4 teens looked and acted like actual teenagers.
