 | They really deserved much better. Michael lost everything and Rafael acted like he was intruding when Michael (Jason) came back. He forced Jane to choose between him or her husband who she had loved so much and grieved for 4 years. If Michael hadn’t died, she would still be with him. Rafael was always the second choice. Michael was willing to leave so he didn’t disrupt Jane’s current life. Now her vision of Michael is ruined. She will no longer think of him watching over her. She won’t think of past memories and feel upset because she knows he’s alive and well with Charlie. If he had actually died, she’d be waiting to be reunited with him, because they were soulmates.  | I just watched the series up until Michael’s death and then I cheated and watched his return in season 5. It makes me so sad they had him return to only have Jane break his heart again. For some reason their love story and them not getting their happily ever after has really effected me. I can’t stop crying when I think about them. I don’t know if it’s because I’m emotional about having to quarantine and not see my family and friends. But I don’t think I can watch the rest of the series. Seeing her mourn him for so long after to only have her choose Rafael at the end. I don’t think I could handle it. Do you recommend me watching the rest of season 3 at least?  | Beautiful video! I used to be split on Raf/Jane, Michael/Jane. But the more distance I've had from the show, I am all the way team Michael. The Jane I knew would have always picked Michael. The ending just made no sense. She was so in love with him. She spent 3 years after his "death" mourning him and never moving on.  | I decided to rewatch the show after I finished it, and not only has it taken the place of my favorite show, it’s made me an even avid shipper of Jane and Raf. I’ve always appreciated her and Michael, but from the get Jane and Raf were endgame. It was a telenovela and destiny is a BIG trope. But I really do love Jane and Michael so much.
